Understanding Caregiving Support

Caregiving is a regular activity or professional skill that involves taking care of vulnerable individuals including a child, the elderly, the sick, or a person with disability.

The tasks at hand include looking after a person’s basic day-to-day needs such as nourishment, hygiene, and mobility; health and medical needs; and special care involving emotional, psycho-social, learning, and mental needs.
